Building & Mobility Access
The Memorial Union is fully ADA-compliant and wheelchair accessible throughout the building. Elevators are available to access all floors of the venue. Attendees using mobility devices may: Be dropped off directly in front of the Memorial Union. Or safely wheel themselves from the adjacent parking garage, with accessible routes clearly marked. Accessible parking is available nearby for those who are driving.
Signage & Assistance
There will be clear signage throughout the event to guide you to various rooms, including accessible restrooms and event spaces. If you have any questions or need support at any point, please stop by the registration desk for assistance.
Quiet & Sensory-Friendly Space
We will have a dedicated quiet/sensory-friendly room available for anyone needing a low-stimulation space. Here’s what to know: The space is low-light, low-noise, and designed to offer a calm atmosphere. Attendees are welcome to adjust lighting (when possible) to meet their sensory needs. The room includes sensory-friendly activities such as: Coloring and drawing materials Magazines Comfortable seating Please be mindful of food sensitivities—avoid bringing allergens like peanuts into this space out of care for those with allergies. Alternative Spaces In addition to the quiet room, we encourage attendees to check out the on-site art gallery located within the Memorial Union as another reflective, lower-stimulation space to recharge.
Food
Food is provided on Friday for Professional Development Day and on Saturday by the Summit. On Sunday, pastries, coffee/water will be provided by the Summit. Food in the Memorial Union will be available on Friday; however, the food court areas in the Memorial Union will be closed on Saturday and Sunday during the Summit. You are welcome to leave campus temporarily to find food nearby if needed. If you have dietary needs or are unsure where to go, feel free to ask staff at the registration desk for local options or directions.
Presentation Accomadations
Captions will be used on PowerPoint presentations whenever possible to support accessibility for Deaf and hard-of-hearing participants.

Parking & NDSU Campus Maps Friday - Professional Development Day - Parking passes are provided to attendees. Saturday/Sunday - Summit parking on campus on Friday after 5:30pm and all day Sat/Sun is free. NDSU campus map link. This link takes you to a detailed building map and a parking lot map.
