The ND LGBTQIA2S+ Summit originated from a conversation sparked by numerous requests for LGBTQ-related trainings across the state. The purpose began to take shape as a means for LGBTQ+ individuals and organizations to connect.

Mission

​The mission of the ND LGBTQIA2S+ Summit is to empower, connect, and promote equity and inclusion in North Dakota by hosting an annual gathering for the LGBTQIA2S+ community and its allies.

Vision

Building a Community of Inclusion, Accountability & Integrity

We share the following values and attitudes, as we are dedicated to working cooperatively towards fostering an acceptance for the LGBTQIA2S+ community, educating the public on the LGBTQIA2S+ community, and furthering the LGBTQIA2S+ communities’ collective rights through the organizing of an annual statewide LGBTQIA2S+ Summit.

The internal rules and regulations adopted by organizations our management, operations, and conduct, covering things like meetings, officer duties, voting, and amendments.

These agreements set the community standards and expectations to which we all must agree in order to be a member of the ND LGBTQIA2S+ Organizing Committee.

The ND LGBTQIA2S+ Summit is an organization that is fiscally sponsored by the North Dakota Human Rights Coalition (NDHRC). The NDHRC is a statewide, membership-based organization established to increase the visibility of human rights needs and violations and to change laws and attitudes that stand as barriers to residents within North Dakota who do not currently enjoy their full rights. North Dakota Human Rights Coalition is a registered 501(c)(3) organization.
