Ming Wong

Ming Wong (he/him) is an attorney at the National Center for Lesbian Rights, where he manages their Rural Pride project, which aims to connect national, state, and local organizations to advance the rights of and protections for LGBTQ+ people in rural communities. He also works on the Legal Aid trainings, which provides resources and technical assistance to organizations delivering legal services to low-income LGBTQ+ people. He is also an attorney on NCLR's Immigration Project, and represents LGBTQ+ immigrants fleeing persecution because of their sexual orientation or gender identity or expression. Ming Wong lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his partner and their dog, and in his free time enjoys going to California's many parks, cooking, and playing table-top roleplaying games.

The ND LGBTQIA2S+ Summit is an organization that is fiscally sponsored by the North Dakota Human Rights Coalition (NDHRC). The NDHRC is a statewide, membership-based organization established to increase the visibility of human rights needs and violations and to change laws and attitudes that stand as barriers to residents within North Dakota who do not currently enjoy their full rights. North Dakota Human Rights Coalition is a registered 501(c)(3) organization.
